<h3 data-oe-version="1.2" data-last-history-steps="3295052067129734">Job Description</h3><p>Our client, operating within the healthcare and medical devices sector, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Applications Specialist to join their Hospital Medical Devices Division.</p><p>The selected candidate will be responsible for the promotion, sales, and clinical/application support of a portfolio of advanced medical and surgical technologies across public and private healthcare settings. The role involves supporting customers throughout the full sales cycle, from product promotion and demonstrations to in-theatre application support and post-sale follow-up.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul>
<li><p>Promoting and selling high-end medical equipment and devices to healthcare professionals in state and private hospitals and clinics in Malta and Gozo.</p></li>
<li><p>Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with healthcare authorities, medical staff, and key stakeholders across public and private sectors.</p></li>
<li><p>Providing detailed product information and demonstrations of medical and surgical devices.</p></li>
<li><p>Delivering application and operational training to end users on installed medical equipment.</p></li>
<li><p>Providing in-theatre and clinical application support as required.</p></li>
<li><p>Monitoring industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in medical technologies.</p></li>
<li><p>Achieving agreed sales targets and contributing to business growth.</p></li>
<li><p>Assisting in the preparation of action plans, forecasts, and performance reports.</p></li>
<li><p>Preparing reports and summaries to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.</p></li>
<li><p>Travelling abroad when required for training or work-related duties.</p></li>
<li><p>Representing the client at local and international trade shows and exhibitions.</p></li>
<li><p>Carrying out any other duties related to the role as required.</p></li>
</ul><h3>The Selected Person Will Be:</h3><ul>
<li><p>In possession of a Diploma or higher qualification in a Life Science.</p></li>
<li><p>Ideally experienced in medical equipment and device sales, preferably within hospital or clinical environments.</p></li>
<li><p>In possession of a valid driver’s licence.</p></li>
<li><p>Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results driven.</p></li>
<li><p>An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.</p></li>
<li><p>Able to work independently as well as within a team.</p></li>
<li><p>Flexible and keen to stay updated on emerging medical technologies.</p></li>
<li><p>Organised, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities.</p></li>
