The Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Medical Representative to join their Hospital Medical Devices Division on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be the face of highly reputable multinational companies and will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of high-end medical equipment and devices to healthcare professionals. This role is critical in contributing to patient care and driving the growth of our client’s medical devices division.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell high-end medical equipment and devices to healthcare professionals in both state and private hospitals and clinics across Malta and Gozo.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with health authorities, doctors, nurses, technicians, and other customers in both the public and private sectors.
  • Provide detailed product information and demonstrations on a range of medical and surgical equipment and devices.
  • Deliver application and operational training to end users on installed medical equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in medical technology.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the medical devices division.
  • Assist in preparing action plans and related forecasts as required.
  • Generate reports to summarize performance and propose improvements to management.
  • Participate in training programs abroad and undertake any work relevant to the role, including occasional travel.
  • Perform other duties as required and agreed upon.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Life Sciences.
  • Proven experience in medical equipment and device sales, preferably within local hospitals and clinics.
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to stay informed on emerging medical devices and technologies.
