MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Our client, a prominent entity in the pharmaceutical sector, is expanding its operations and seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering team. Based in Malta, the company operates within a global network, focusing on the development and manufacturing of high-quality medicinal products for international markets, particularly Europe and the US. Their facilities are EU GMP certified and US FDA-approved, adhering to the highest industry standards.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Technical Supervisor and be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance, calibrations, and corrective maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and utilities. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment and utilities.
• Conduct corrective maintenance to ensure machinery functions properly.
• Ensure efficient operation of all equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Work on a rotational shift basis to support continuous operations.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Relevant technical qualification; preference for candidates with an Electrical License (Category B).
• Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Results-oriented with a positive attitude aligning with company values.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Excellent multitasking and task prioritization skills.
• Proficient in both English and Maltese.
