The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Developer / Sales Manager International to join our client’s team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of their medical cannabis products in international markets. If you have a strong background in sales and distribution, a proactive mindset, and a passion for the pharmaceutical industry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify and acquire new distributors and brands for white label medical cannabis products in international markets.
- Account Management: Manage key accounts and handle related sales administration efficiently.
- Market Analysis: Monitor emerging markets and regulations related to medical cannabis distribution to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Event Participation: Identify and participate in relevant exhibitions or events internationally to promote products and expand the network.
- Product Costing: Develop and manage product costing strategies tailored to individual countries.
- Consultation: Advise and consult with management on new market opportunities and strategies.
- Competition Monitoring: Keep a close watch on competitors and adjust strategies accordingly.
- KPI Management: Set and analyze key performance indicators to measure and drive success.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in sales and distribution within international markets, with a focus on B2B distribution.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with pharmaceutical products is preferred, and knowledge of medical cannabis is a significant plus.
- Logistics Understanding: A strong grasp of international logistics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office and excellent IT skills.
- Personal Attributes: Self-confident, proactive working attitude, and able to work independently.
